Holiday Shipping Deadlines:

  • US, UK, Europe: Order Apparel and Accessories by Dec 8th, Mugs by Dec 9th.
  • CAN: Order Apparel and Accessories, and Mugs by Dec 4th.
  • AU: Order Apparel and Accessories, and Mugs by Dec 7th.
  • JPN, BR, & Everywhere Else: Order Apparel and Accessories, and Mugs by Nov 26th.

Cancellations, Changes

*Please be aware that there is a limited time for you to cancel orders or update addresses.  Once it goes to production, it cannot be canceled or refunded and there are no exchanges for printed items.

Production Time + Processing Times and S&H

Production Time:  Current estimates for printed products are 2-7 business days, and Mugs can take up to 10 days. Production and shipping times will be affected because both the warehouses and Postal Service are experiencing delays due to social distancing measures.

Jewelry will experience no delay if it is in-stock, however, there is an 8-14 day receiving time for materials which are out of stock, in addition to Auric Wear’s production and shipping time- note that I will be making your order especially for you, so production can take 1-14 days– reach out to me if you want to make sure an order can be delivered by a specific date..

Printed Items: while there is an estimated 2-7 day production time on most printed items, the industry is seeing some delays, and timelines are subject to change without notice, although I will try to keep timelines updated and current.

Contact me if you want to be sure you’ll receive an item by a particular date- printed production is outsourced to a different facility if it is not embellished by me personally, thus I can provide an estimate but not a guarantee of when you’ll receive it..

Shipping & Processing time:

*Please note that shipping time is in addition to production time. 

Customs and import taxes: Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. Auric Wear is neither responsible for delays due to customs, nor any import taxes nor customs duties- it is your responsibility to determine what your country’s duties are.

Printed and Embroidered Processing Times

Items not embellished by me are outsourced for production and fulfilled by a print-shop(s), thus Orders may be fulfilled in multiple shipments from different facilities which may arrive at different times.

Estimated shipping times United States: 3-4 days, USPS First Class, Canada: 2-3 weeks, United Kingdom: 3-5 weeks, Europe: 3-5 weeks, Australia, New Zealand and Oceania: 3-5 weeks. Auric Wear has no control over the postal system and cannot alter or change handling times.

Order failed to deliver

I will not assume responsibility for orders marked Delivered- you must check with the carrier, your neighbors, and monitor tracking information to ensure you receive your package and avoid package theft.

If the carrier isn’t able to deliver the items because of the wrong address, or if the package was unclaimed by your customer, it’ll be returned to the default return address.

When that happens, you’ll get an email from us that your order arrived back at our facility. We’ll then hold on the order for 28 days, during which time you’ll have to confirm your address to have it shipped back out

Please be careful and double-check that you’ve added the correct address, color, and sizes before placing your order.

Order was lost in transit

    • If the address was correct, then reply with:
      We’re glad that the address was correct. If your package still hasn’t arrived, then we recommend getting in touch with your local post office to see if your order is there. You can also check in with your neighbors to ask if they might have seen your package.
    • If the address was incorrect, then the package will be sent back to the return address and we’ll contact you for an updated address when we receive the returned package. If we don’t receive the package, then you’ll have to submit a new order to replace the original. The package should be sent back to us and we’ll update the shipping address and reship it for you. Please note that you’d be responsible for the shipping costs, so let us know how you’d like to proceed.
  • Unclaimed – Shipments that go unclaimed are returned to our facility and you will be liable for the cost of a reshipment.

Item is Marked as Delivered, But I Didn’t Receive It.

I do not assume responsibility for items marked as delivered. Inquire if any additional details were left by the delivery staff. Please note that we don’t cover refunds due to carrier errors.

Damaged & mislabeled items

If you receive the wrong item or it’s damaged, please email photos and a description of the error or damage within 7 days of receipt.

Cancel or Change an Order

It is important to contact Auric Wear immediately to make changes to or cancel an order- there is a limited time-frame before an item goes into production, at which point updates and cancellations are no longer possible and it is out of my control.  I will not be able to issue refunds or cancellations once an item goes into production.

*You should never dispute a transaction you’ve approved with your credit card or bank because the seller is charged upwards of $15 dollars plus a transaction fee- which is very unfair to me- please contact me with any issues, thank you.  

Exchange, Return & Refund Policy

Unfortunately, there are No Returns, Exchanges, or Refunds of any kind unless you receive the wrong item, your order is not received (must not be marked delivered), there is a manufacturer’s defect, or it’s damaged in transit, in which case you should contact me..

*DO NOT SHIP UNAUTHORIZED RETURNS WITHOUT CONTACTING ME– you will be responsible for return shipping fees in the case that I am not accepting the return or exchange that has not first been approved.  The address for your return shipment may be different than the return address on your shipment.

To be eligible for a return, exchange, or refund, you must contact me with photos, the name on the order and order number within 10 days of receipt, your item must be in the same condition as you received it and meet the above criteria. 

If you received a wrong/defective/damaged item it and must be shipped in the same packaging or in a similar way to how it was originally shipped: for jewelry it must be in a bubble mailer, or a rigid cardboard box; for apparel, a poly mailer will suffice. Shipping jewelry, accessories, mugs, etc without sufficient packaging results in damage, and will not be accepted as a return. I am not responsible for any returns lost or damaged in transit, or shipped to the incorrect address.

There is a 10 day return or exchange policy from the date of delivery only for items deemed defective or wrong item delivered. Please include a note with your return that contains your name and order number. The note is very important to make sure your order is processed as quickly as possible, and packages that do not include this information will not be processed

To complete your return, I require a receipt or proof of purchase, tracking, and am not responsible for items lost in transit.

How to Return an Item which meets the criteria above: defective or damaged.

  2. WeI will provide you with instructions for return.
  3. Repack your order: Use the original packing materials if possible. If the original materials are not usable, use appropriate packing materials with plenty of cushioning. You are responsible for any damage due to improper packaging; please take care to repack items carefully. If you are unsure how to do so, please email us at AuricWear@gmail.com
  4. Please send your return within a week of receiving your return instructions. Note that you are responsible for return shipping costs.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

Please do not leave packages for pickup, and only mail packages by directly taking them to a carrier or scheduling a pickup and handing it directly to the carrier. Auric Wear is not liable for packages that are stolen or lost before or after the tracking process.

Exchanges

There are no exchanges for apparel or printed products– it is your responsibility to read the product descriptions for sizing information before placing your order.  Masks and Gaiters may not be exchanged or returned due to the coronavirus.

Only Jewelry and Accessories which are not printed but rather made by me may qualify for an exchange.  Exchanges on hand-made made-to-order jewelry and accessories will only be accepted in the event that item(s) are defective or arrive damaged and you contact me within 10 days of receipt- simple repairs such as slipped jump rings are not acceptable reasons for exchange.

Contact us, return the item after your exchange has been approved, and you’ll be given either a credit or may select a different item(s) of equal value- if it exceeds the amount of your order, you will be responsible for the difference in price. Note the product availability section below. I  am not responsible for the shipping costs of both the return and exchanged items.

Refunds

You can expect a refund 3–5 business days after I receive your approved return, provided it arrives undamaged and meets the criteria for a refund above. You will be credited for the price of the item minus shipping costs. Please note that I cannot provide refunds for items that have been damaged or altered, or are not received.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account, credit card transactions, or payment method’s transaction history again.

Then contact your credit card company, bank,or customer service of the payment method you used, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted and you may want to ask them how long that can take. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund after more than 5 days, please contact me at AuricWear@gmail.com.

Due to the artisanal nature of Auric Wear’s products, varying colors of natural undyed gemstones, and the different computer monitors/calibrations, colors may vary slightly from the picture. Items that are slightly different than the item pictured will not be accepted for returns. Additionally, as each of our items are handmade, there may be slight physical variations in the textures within the gemstones and textures on the metal (the stones are hand-set). Items will only be accepted for return in the event of significant variations from the photograph, wrong item delivered, defective product(certain gemstones such as quartz, amethyst, and labradorite are known to also have imperfections in the surface texture due to the nature of the gemstones) and textures on the metal (the stones are hand-set, so tool marks and imperfections are likely) are normal. Items will only be accepted for return in the event of significant variations from the photograph, wrong item delivered,or if they are determined to be defective products.  

Simple Repairable issues are not considered defective: jump-rings or pendents falling off, cords or stringing material snapping, are not acceptable reasons for return. You may reach out to me and I will consider making simple repairs if you pay the shipping and handling both ways, but I cannot repair or accept returns for complex items such as mala necklaces, because of the production time and type.

Contact Auric Wear prior to ordering to prevent having to return an order due to improper sizing. Some pieces, such as the body chains, may be made-to-order for your size, so please contact me with any concern before purchase.  Note that the price for made-to-order pieces may vary from the Item Description to reflect any changes in cost of materials used.

Unfortunately, there are no returns, exchanges, or refunds of any kind for custom orders.

Product availability

Product availability is split into (at least) Three categories:

‘In Stock,’ ‘Made to Order,’ and ‘Back-order.’

‘Available Now’ items can generally be shipped in 1-2 business days.

‘In Stock’ means I only have 1-10 in stock. If you wish to order more than one of an item listed as ‘In Stock’, there may be a delay in your order, as hand-made jewelry may take some time for to create (I set the stones and assemble all the jewelry by hand). Most items can me made and shipped within 1-2 weeks..

Back-order: Occasionally pieces can take 4-8 weeks if a particular stone or component needs to be sourced. If this rare issue is applicable to your order, you will be given the option of a refund or waiting for the back-ordered item. If you need a rush order for an item that’s back-ordered, I can try to source the materials within the US for a higher price-point- contact me if you need an order by a certain date.

Made-to-Order: the components are likely in stock, but the item is made especially for you after you place the order. For some items, such as body chains, sizing is also a custom order option.

Errors

Despite my best efforts to ensure there are no errors or mistakes on AuricWear.com, occasionally I may make a typo or miss a decimal place. Auric Wear reserves the right to correct such errors when they occur, and I will contact you with the correct price. You will have the opportunity to continue with the proper price, or to cancel the order. In the event that you pay for a higher price than the actual price, we will refund the difference to the method of payment used at the time of purchase.

Although I try to keep our prices stable, gold, silver, platinum and semi-precious gemstones are traded commodities that can fluctuate. Because of this, our prices are subject to change without notice.

Weights and Measurements

As mentioned above, we at Auric Wear areI am human and occasionally make mistakes. Although weI make every attempt to ensure product data is as up-to-date, complete, and accurate as possible, occasionally mistakes may slip through the cracksdo happen. Please contact me if you have any questions or think something may be out of place, and weI will double check to make sure the information is accurate.

With this in mind, because my pieces are handmade, there may be slight fluctuations in the metal and stone weights.

Notice of change

By using this website, you agree that Auric Wear may change its policies, terms and conditions on at any time and that posting those changes on AuricWear.com will constitute sufficient notice of such changes.

Limitation of Liability

By purchasing from AuricWear.com, you indemnify Auric Wear and its owner, designer, and any employees or employees of outsourced production facilities from any damage or harm: in no event shall Auric Wear, its artists, its employees, affiliates, or its agents be liable for any direct, special, indirect, consequential damages, or any other possible damages, including to property such as but not limited to garments or furniture, as well as any unforeseen harm or injury. By shopping at AuricWear.com or on any marketplace where Auric Wear goods are sold, you agree to the above terms. It is the responsibility of the consumer to examine products for sharp edges, exposed prongs or wire, or jagged stone surfaces for example- should a piece have pointed sides which are a part of the design, it should be worn consciously and with consideration for both oneself and others.

Wear and Tear

Auric Wear is not responsible for the normal wear and tear of jewelry, garments and accessories. Plated jewelry will certainly lose its plating if rubbed, worn for extended periods, and worn in the bath or shower. Metals may tarnish, rust, oxidize- be sure to read the product description for the metal type(s) used in a particular item. We recommend removing jewelry before bathing and sleeping. As stone tapping is a practice used with gemstones, we cannot be responsible for cracked or damaged gemstones unfortunately.

Gemstones: Auric Wear is not responsible for scratched or cracked gemstones, as the nature of some stones cause them to be prone to scratches and cracks- labradorite for example.  Because stone tapping is a practice commonly used, Auric Wear cannot accept returns or exchanges due to scratched or cracked, and missing stones.

You may inquire about replacing a stone, you will be responsible for the cost of shipping and handling both ways.

Proper Care

Properly caring for your Auric Wear jewelry, accessories, and clothing will extend the life of the products. Be aware of the type of metal(s), stone(s), and fabrics your item(s) are constructed from.

  • Garments: delicate cycle, cold temperature, do not bleach, tumble dry low-heat on delicate cycle. For garments with set stones, be aware of other delicates- you may want to wash them separately or in a garment washing bag as the prongs may catch- you may also choose to hand-wash and hang-dry such garments. I am not responsible for garments damaged to due washing, care, and wear and tear.
  • Jewelry and accessories: unless your jewelry is made of stainless steel or sterling silver, avoid wearing your jewelry in the shower or bath, and during sleep. Rubbing, scratching, and normal wear and tear will slowly remove any plating: delicate handling and cleaning, avoiding chemicals, the elements, and properly wearing and storing your jewelry will extend its life. Store individually as other chains and jewelry may scratch your item.
    • Gemstones: avoid salt water, chemicals, sudden temperature changes, dropping or impact may crack gemstones.
    • Wear and store properly. Store individually as other chains and jewelry may scratch your item and or the stones.

Safety:

Choking Hazards

Jewelry, Accessories, and some clothing sold on AuricWear.com contain small beads, clasps, charms, wire, and findings that may pose choking hazards to children and pets. Unless otherwise specified, products sold are intended for wear and use by adults and should be kept out of the reach of children and pets.

*  All childrens’ and pets’ items are intended to be worn under adult supervision only- they are not indented to be slept in in the case of children, and it is the parents’ responsibility to ensure comfortable fit and sizing for both comfort and safety.

*Pet Safety: For pet pendants, ensure that the bead is secured within the pendant and that all of the holes are caught with the clasp so that it cannot open. Be sure to read the section below on Aroma Therapy and essential oil safety in pets.

Aroma Therapy and Essential Oils

While some accessories and articles of jewelry are intended for use with aroma therapy and essential oils, it is the consumer’s responsibility to inform his/her-self of the oils and their safety for use in diffusers, bead cages, etc. Oils which may cause harm on contact should be avoided. There are also types which may cause harm to animals, so be sure to research before you buy.

  1. Research essential oils that are skin safe if you intend to use them in a bead cage or pendant.
  2. Consider your pets! Research and purchase only pet friendly essential oils.
  3. Use Carrier Oils to dilute essential oils in order to increase safety and prevent any issues from contact.

Safety Warnings:

Do not allow essential oils to contact the eyes or skin, do not ingest, and do not directly inhale undiluted essential oils.
